The art of paper cutting (jiǎnzhǐ 剪纸) in China may date back to the second century CE. As paper became more affordable, paper-cutting became one of the most important types of Chinese folk art.
We have a group of Chinese artists visiting the studios and exhibiting their work. One of them is running a workshop to show and teach this art form. There are 10 places available £30 for a 2 hour masterclass. Please book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
